Latest News, Jullian Assange gets bail, whoops we changed our minds...

This has been a hard one to keep up with today. I got out of the shower this morning and the breaking news was that Jullian Assange would be released on bail with a few conditions. Then the Swedish government filed an objection, so he will be in for another 48hrs till another hearing. I predict another series of hacking attacks on the Swedish government...

However, Operation Leakspin is still going strong. Go to youtube and repost the videos far and wide.



In other news, A new study proves that Fox News makes you stupid. Big surprise, I've been saying this for years...

Operation Leakspin, new videos and updates.

Latest news, as of this morning the "Support Jullian Assange" site on worldpress is down,  possible DDoS's. There was another attack on mastercard.com last night. Don't know how long it was down.

There seems to be a split in the Operation Paybackc rowd, some going on with Operation Leakspin (see video) and others who wish to keep up the LOIC attacks against Paypal, Mastercard, Visa, ect. Some Anti-Anonomous group has poped up calling itself The Regime (or Fagime, as others call them). Possible ties to the Church of Scientology have been claimed, but doubtfull. Check the like for more info.




So what do you do? We need to fall back and regroup. The LOIC attacks were good, it got their attention. It told the enemies of free speech that we will not take it lying down. It worked, however you can't keep using the same attack and expect it to be effective. Stronger defences will come up, and attempts that fail don't make great publicity. Attacking the companies who cut off Wikileaks isn't going to hurt the governments who abused human rights (not just the US). Getting the information out will. So check out the video below on how to do that.












Time to get to the serious work to looking through the cables and passing out the leaks.....

Who is Anonymous

In their most recent public statement, WikiLeaks is the only group of people to identify Anonymous correctly. Anonymous is not a group, but rather an Internet gathering.

Both Anonymous and the media that is covering it are aware of the percieved dissent between individuals in the gathering. This does not, however, mean that the command structure of Anonymous is failing for a simple reason: Anonymous has a very loose and decentralized command structure that operates on ideas rather than directives.

We do not believe that a similar movement exists in the world today and as such we have to learn by trial and error. We are now in the process of better communicating some core values to the individual atoms that comprise Anonymous - we also want to take this opportunity to communicate a message to the media, so that the average Internet Citizen can get to know who we are and what we represent.

Anonymous is not a group of hackers. We are average Interent Citizens ourselves and our motivation is a collective sense of being fed up with all the minor and major injustices we witness every day.

We do not want to steal your personal information or credit card numbers. We also do not seek to attack critical infrastructure of companies such as Mastercard, Visa, PayPal or Amazon. Our current goal is to raise awareness about WikiLeaks and the underhanded methods employed by the above companies to impair WikiLeaks' ability to function.


What is Operation: Payback
As stated above, the point of Operation: Payback was never to target critical infrastructure of any of the companies or organizations affected. Rather than doing that, we focused on their corporate websites, which is to say, their online "public face". It is a symbolic action - as blogger and academic Evgeny Morozov put it, a legitimate expression of dissent.


The background to the attacks on PayPal and the calls to attack Amazon.com


Amazon, which was until recently WikiLeaks' DNS provider, was one of the first companies to drop support for WikiLeaks. On December 9th, BusinessInsider.com reported that Amazon.co.uk were hosting the recently leaked diplomatic cables in e-book form. (Amazon.co.uk has since ceased selling the bundle of the diplomatic cables.)


After this piece of news circulated, parts of Anonymous on Twitter asked for Amazon.com to be targetted. The attack never occured.

While it is indeed possible that Anonymous may not have been able to take Amazon.com down in a DDoS attack, this is not the only reason the attack never occured. After the attack was so advertised in the media, we felt that it would affect people such as consumers in a negative way and make them feel threatened by Anonymous. Simply put, attacking a major online retailer when people are buying presents for their loved ones, would be in bad taste.

The continuing attacks on PayPal are already tested and preferable: while not damaging their ability to process payments, they are successful in slowing their network down just enough for people to notice and thus, we achieve our goal of raising awareness

Update from the front....

I kinda hate the fact I work wierd hours and sleep even wierder ones. As the Apox Kids said, STAY AWAKE! So on to the latest news from the front.

A 16 year old boy was arrested in connection with the Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks on Mastercard. Find more about it here . The attacks agains Amazon have subsided so that the army can concentrate on PayPal. Thousands of new recruits are joining worldwide. Red Pill anyone? Websites are popping up like mad and I doubt there is any way I can cover this sort of story in a conventional sense. Keep informed, don't trust the mainstream media on this one. The press burries parts of the story, such as the fact that One accuser in the Assange rape case has ties to the CIA. There is a petition going to keep Wikileaks online, Check it out here.  I can point you in the right direction, but you are the one who has to Follow the white rabbit. Latest news regarding Operation Payback....

Well folks, it seems that the war has begun.  The Cyber wars are no longer fiction folks. They are here. Twitter shut down it's accounts of users who used the tag #payback. They will probably be the next target. Sarah Palin has become a target of Operation Payback for her comments regarding Jullian Assange. If Jullian Assange and Wikileaks are terrorists, can you say the same for Woodward and Bernstien? How about Deep Throat or Daniel Ellsberg ? This really scares the shit out of me. The US government is saying that journalists who publish anything that embarasses the government are terrorists. The press has been the watchdog of the government since day one, great way to start going after them, call them terrorists. First Amendment states

And the Band Played On......

Where to start? Where to start..... I've had a lot to follow in the last few days. I've kept my eye on the WikiLeaks situation with Jullian Assange. I guess that's where I'll start.

First off. I commend Jullian Assange with having the bravery (and balls the size of Texas), to publish the videos and documents that he has published. There are some questions as to weather or not people's lives were put in danger by publishing said material, including Mr. Assange. Various politicians(Sarah Palin and other rabid right wingers) have called for his assination and the mainstream media (CNN, FOX and others) are begining to refer to Wikileaks as a terrorist organization. WTF! What ever happened to free speech in the good old US of A? Oh wait, that dissapeared along with our other rights after 9/11. It's free speech unless the US Government gets egg on it's face.

As far as refering to Wikileaks as a "Terrorist Organization", what a load of shit. They are Journalists, end of story. Jullian Assange turned himself in today to the British authorities. Wikileaks has suffered denial of service attacks (supposidly by Hacktivists, more likely from the Pentagon), yet they are still up and running. Pay Pal, Amazon, Visa and Mastercard have supposidly cut ties with Assange and Wikileaks, and as such are suffering various denial of service attacks. Who is behind these attacks? 

Now you will say that Mr. Assange is wanted on Rape charges (which I believe are politicially motivated, considering the timing of such charges). Should he face said charges? Yes, however it's pretty clear that this is a political attack and an attempt to silence Wikileaks. A bad one at that. Consider this, Wikileaks is not just one man, or one person. It is a group of people. Take out Jullian Assange, and you make him a martyr. Wikileaks will not shut down on account of that. The Hactivists have taken all government action against Wikileaks as a call to arms. They are now working against the US government computers as we speak. They are also going against anyone they consider an enemy to freedom (Amazon, paypal and the like). So now, big bro and big sis have a ton of hackers to deal with, on top of looking for the real terrorists in our midst. Pardon me while I roll my eyes.... 





There is a war on the horizon. On one side are those who believe in freedom, The Bill of Rights, and equality. On the other, those who want the status quo, inequality, Big Brother invading your private life, lack of freedom to say, do, love and worship as you will. Sooner or later America will wake up, and they will feel like Neo when he just woke up out of the Matrix..........So, the red pill or the blue pill?

Not been a good week here...

It's not fun when you've been bit by a dog, in the face no less. It's been a week and my brain still feels like scrambled eggs. I'll have some scars but I'll be ok.

So on to other news. Things are getting a little crazy. You look online and all you see are people who are angry. Right now there's a lot of fear of a government gone wild. We have actors and others winding up on Homeland Security's watch list for supporting a documentary. Some file sharing websites were shut down and Wikileaks released a ton of confidential state dept. info. They also are experiencing a cyber attack in Europe and the US. Yesterday Comcast was out in most of the eastern US, any connection? Hmmm. Some Hacktivist states he launced the attack against Wikileaks. I don't buy it.

I have friends who are scared. They are scared of the moves the government is making, disregarding the Bill of Rights. They are scared of the Tea Party "We're a Christian Nation" crowd (who would love to take away their right to worship as they see fit), and with everything going on (TSA patdowns possibly moving to bus terminals), all it's gonna take is a spark. That spark will start a revolution, another Civil War. I don't see that going well for anybody. One side is the Government gone wild, who forgot who they work for. The other side are the bible thumpers and racists. So what do we do? It's starting to look like 1984 or V for Vendetta out there.

 I'll probably head over to Ireland, but their economy is in the toilet...lol. Canada is looking good right about now...

I could go on and on regarding the TSA sexual assaults and national Opt out day, however I'm just rehashing what's already been said by many other people and other blogs. So I'm going to give you the link to We Won't Fly and let you look up their stories. I hear the ACLU is getting involved, and Prison Planet had a good article regarding a college student who's breasts were exposed in front of other travelers and the TSA perverts were laughing about it. That's inexcusable. Where the hell are the National Organization of Women on this? In the short term, it's time to write you congressmen. Get to it....

The more I find out, the more it pisses me off.....

Well it seems folks that more trouble has come out of the woodwork for John Tyner, the man who stood up to the TSA. It appears that the TSA is looking to fine him $11,000 in civil court. Read about it here. This is nothing more than intimidation and scare tactics by the TSA and the Nazis over in Homeland Security to deter anybody from asserting their rights. I think this is a cover your ass tactic to deter bad press. Well FUCK YOU JANET NAPOLITANO!

Now here's a shocker. Those porno-scanners that supposidly don't store scans of people, well guess what?

Now the sad part is 78% of Americans are comfortable with full body scans. This goes into the fact that most americans are woefully ignorant of what is contained in the Bill of Rights. What's worse? Our politicians don't even know them! According to one study Seventy-nine (79) percent of elected officeholders did not know that the Bill of Rights expressly forbids the government establishment of an official religion. I'll take a lucky guess Sarah Palin is one of those.....

What's it gonna take? Sheeple Wake up! This is not about Right Vs. Left, or religion, it's about Civil rights and civil liberties. I say we march on Washington, right up to Homeland Security and say NO MORE!

Are TSA sexual assaults just the tip of the iceberg?

Ok, how do I want to start this tonight? I know I told you I’d look into class warfare and what not. However recent events have driven me to a more pressing issue, here and now. 


Perhaps you have read this blog regarding 1 man’s experience with the Transportation Safety Authority (TSA). John Tyner told a TSA agent “if you touch my junk, I’m gonna have you arrested”.  You can read more about it here .


I applaud Mr. Tyner for standing up for his rights, despite the hassle and outright bulling by the TSA. He was threatened with a $10,000 civil fine for leaving the airport. No comment from the TSA regarding this incident. So TSA, you gonna file that lawsuit? Are you willing to deal with the throngs of protesters who will meet you at the courthouse?

Another disturbing quote I found was "It's all about security," Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said. "It's all about everybody recognizing their role." Recognizing their role? Meaning what? Shut up and roll over? Meaning don’t you dare give us any lip about your rights? It’s not sexual assault when it’s a TSA pervert feeling you up? I do not believe being a TSA agent exempts you from state laws regarding assault. I have not found any cases of a TSA agent being arrested or charged with sexual assault, although I’m not sure if anybody has called the police and reported such. One rape survivor's case is disturbing.

I don’t know what I find more horrifying, having to choose going through a scanner which might as well be a virtual strip search, and exposes me to massive amounts of radiation (and have not been proven safe), or having to be sexually assaulted by a TSA agent, just to get on a damn plane. What’s worse? How many people just rolled over like dogs and did what they were told, never once questioning the need for such measures? I find it disturbing.

Ben Franklin once said “Those who sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither”. I agree wholeheartedly.  But what if people don’t know their rights? How can they stand up for their rights if they don’t know them? The schools are no longer teaching Social Studies and Civics like they used to. According to the federal government, it’s so they can concentrate on Math and Science, to bring kids up to par with the rest of the world. Yea right, and if you believe that I got some great waterfront property in Fl for you. I found this article which shows how ignorant many Virginia voters are regarding the Consitiution and the Bill of rights. It's clear that they government has slowly been fazing out such courses over the years to make the populus easier to control. If young people don't know their rights, their duty to question and confront their government when civil rights are violated.....it's a hell of a lot easier to take them away.

So are TSA patdowns just the tip of iceberg? Yes they are. ABC News reported that the "No Child Left Behind" and other programs were secretly collecting data on children for use by the Pentagon. Especially targeted in this secret database are children in High School (per ABC news 6/23/05). How many Child Protective Services horror stories are we finding out about? The mainstream press ignores these as "angry, bitter parents". Yea, I'd be angry and bitter as well if a government worker violated my civil rights and got away with it (as CPS workers routinely do). I have personally witnessed CPS workers violate state and federal laws, force a Domestic Violence victim (who left the country to get away from her abusive husband) to return to the dangerous home and clean it up, otherwise she would loose custody of her daughter. She was told that if she left the home, she would be charged with child neglect. I wrote letters to every women's group, shelter, politician and even Govenor Tim Kane's office (who is now head of the Democratic National Committie).

I had to go as far as ralling the women's groups and threaten a march on the town and involve the media. At that point, I got calls from the head of CPS in Virginia, who pretty much begged me to call off the dogs. I told her there was no turning back until the child was returned to mom and the social workers who violated her 4th and 5th amendment rights (along with laws against kidnapping, and conspriacy) were held accountable. Well, the child was returned to the mother the next buisness day. However the social workers are still getting my tax dollars. The so called "oversight board" said they did nothing wrong! Well who the hell is this oversight board? Who voted/ appointed them? Who are they accountable to? I'm still working on that investigation.

People are waking up and fighting back against what they see as a government that is becoming tyranical. We saw this in the most recent election, with certain Tea Party politicians saying "if we conservatives don't win this election, then perhaps it's time to look at our second amendment remidies", and "if ballots don't work, bullets will". This is not an issue of Right vs. Left, it's about ALL OF OUR RIGHTS! We won't fly. com is organizing a National Opt Out day. Go check it out on their site. Many writers and market watchers already believe we are looking at another american revoloution. We have many of the same economic factors that were present before the French Revoloution. We have an angry populous who have lost their jobs, been forclosed upon, and feel disenfranchised. They want someone to blame. Plenty of publishers and Fox News is making bank on whatever lies and half truths they can publish (Much like the Libels, pamphlets which published outright lies about Louis XVI and more so Marie Antoinette). Truth is usually the first casualty of war.

Could this be the straw that broke the camel's back for civil libertarians? I know it's too much for me. It's time to start writing to our leaders and reminding them who they work for, not the lobbists, or big corporations, but WE THE PEOPLE!

Welcome to Rantings of an Angry Woman!

Welcome to Rantings of an Angry Woman. I am the Disgruntled Local.

So how do I want to start this blog. I suppose a short introduction of who I am, the issues I'll be discussing, political views, local and national events, views on society, human nature, animal rights, conspiracy theories, etc.

I'm an average, working class, middle of the road American woman. I'm Irish and Native American and I'm proud of my heritage. I'm liberal on some issues and conservative on others.I am single and live with 3 cats (all rescues). I do not believe in abortion but I am Pro Choice (choose to use birth control and prevent unintended pregnancies to begin with). I believe we need stronger enforcement of animal cruelty laws. People who fight their dogs should be torn apart in the ring by their own dogs. I support the second amendment, namely to protect my first amendment rights (Freedom of Speech, Religious belief ). I am Pagan (with some Wiccan beliefs). I believe in Harm none and do as ye will (that being said, I do not sacrifice or harm animals). I do not hate Jesus, or all Christians, just the ones who believe that they have the right to shove their religious beliefs down my throat. My only complaint with any religion is the extent to which they will go to say "we're right and everyone else is wrong". Well if you want to believe that, fine. However you do not have the right to take away my right to worship as I see fit. Your rights stop when they infringe upon my rights.

So you may ask "why are you angry?". I'm not always angry. Sometimes I'm sad, depressed, happy, mellow, chilled out, stressed out, bored, loving, etc. In other words, I'm just like everyone else. I think anybody with half a brain can take a look around and be angry at the way things are going. Like the bumper sticker says, If you are not outraged, your not paying attention. I have a lot I want to get into, class warfare, civil disobedience, big brother, etc. I will get into the whole TSA groping vs. using technology that is not proven to be safe. I'll get to all that, but first.....

I work in security. I won't tell you where, but it's a neighborhood of upper middle class/ upper class residents. Homes range from the mid 300's to over 2 million. Now I have lived all over, from nice upper middle class, to trailer parks, to the ghetto, and even homeless for a time. I've lived in the country, the boondocks, to the big city. No matter what, you find the same kind of people in all the walks of life. Money does not equal class. You will always have the old biddy who has to get into every body's business, the family who lets their kids run wild (and are surprised when they have to go get them out of jail), the crazy old man who will tell you he worked for the FBI/ CIA and go into all kinds of conspiracy theories (I'll call him AJ, after Alex Jones talk show), the vigilante who decides they are going to chase down who they feel are suspicious, hell I could go on and on.
Recently we've had some problems with kids deciding to smash pumpkins in the street. This seems to be the act of 13-15 year old boys who are going out after dinner to cause havoc. The residents however, never called us to report it. They did want the mess cleaned up and we had to do it. Now here's where I'm angry. The kids who do this kind of shit need to come out and clean up their own mess. My job description didn't include maid, janitor or babysitter. Apparently we have some residents who do think it's our job to clean up after them. If I wanted to clean up after spoiled, elitist, Rich people, I would be a maid. If I wanted to babysit and clean up after their spoiled little yuppie larvae, I would've been a nanny.

Next stop....class warfare, does it exist? Has class warfare already been declared? By whom? Who benefits?
